Elevator Buttons

One of the great questions of the modern world: Do elevator "close door" buttons actually close the door? Or is it just a placebo for impatient riders? I'm submitting this to MythBusters.

I'll let you know tomorrow, if the elevator hack, i mean feature, works. I can't wait to try it out. I'm excited.

I'm convinced they work at least sometimes. There were some elevators at Clemson that clearly made good use of the button.
